LuLu Cowan
LuLu Cowan attended Amarillo College, received a Bachelor of Arts degree from WTA&M and a Masters of Social Work from University of Texas at Arlington. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
She currently serves as Special Assistant to the President of Amarillo College. Prior to this position she was Coordinator of Customized Training for Amarillo College. Before moving into the field of education she worked in the field of mental health as an administrator and therapist.
Her involvement in the Amarillo community has included service on the boards of several non-profit organizations and the Junior League of Amarillo. She is a graduate of Leadership Amarillo & Canyon.
Cowan is married to Dr. Steve Cowan who is an optometrist at Advanced Eye Care. They are members of First Presbyterian Church. Their pride and joy are their children and grandchildren.
